I'm personally a nosy person (lol) so I like to know how other business owners spend their days. I'm really happy to say the way my days look now is very much aligned to what I hoped it would be years ago. I'm not going to be precise about timing because honestly, I'm not watching the clock too closely. I do track my time on my computer, but I'm not like, okay, wake up at this specific time, lunch at this specific time, etc. 7:30 am get out of bed shower, wash hair, hydrating hair mask brush & floss skincare routine get dressed 8:10 am feed kitties & open all the curtains get on the computer, start reviewing metrics.
11am go for a 3 mile walk on the trail, this was a longer walk & i was kid-free, so it was very peaceful 12pm eat homemade chicken noodle soup that my husband made! 1pm - 2pm? play the ukulele. my husband bought me one for my birthday, i didn't ask for it but he knew i enjoyed other people playing them. i am working on the song "save tonight" by eagle-eye cherry! I'm a 90's kid. 2pm continue making website updates for the spring sale, add a new testimonial from a recent day of voxer 3pm working on this newsletter to you! Today so far I've made about $20, and $400+ month to date. I'm so grateful. The work I'm doing today is not what is generating current sales. The current sales are from affiliate links from old youtube videos + blogs. The work I'm doing now, ie: updating my website, adding testimonials, working on my product pages…. It's part of a long-term vision to get more product & client sales. I know it's important for me to diversify. I may not see immediate sales from my website revamp, but I continue to do the work, & assess over time if it's working or not. So that's my day so far! Did it surprise you? I'm a free-spirited person, part of why I chose to homeschool my kids. Getting my family up before 7am and rushing out the door was painful.
